Twins Marina

This project was a freelance piece for a client who came to me looking to name his boat. He came to me with the name "Twins Marina", saying that he wanted to incorporate that he has twins and a daughter named Marina. With this in mind, I took to my computer and got to work. I chose to create a design with colors representing the ocean and was determined to find another way to depict his three children in the design. In order to do this, I chose to use three seagulls to represent his children flying above the name and a crashing wave. Combining all of these ideas with a font that I felt had the motion and texture representative of an ocean, the design below came to life.
